i met up with dj404 later that afternoon. many, many thanks to chris, crystal, and donna for letting me crash at their home for several days. on our way to the electric daisy carnival, chris took us on a slight detour to devore, where i got to meet meteorologist brian scroggins. got to listen via headphones as he was tweaking knobs on a 303. >:O) |

 had lots of fun hanging with chris at the EDC; also got to meet natefrogg and sang. really liked simply jeff's set, and uberzone is always amazing--pretty sure i heard a couple of new ubertracks there. anywho, here's a few random carnival ride shots, along with 404 with Q of uberzone.

on sunday morning i went with chris to one of the churches they usually attend. sunday night we went over to ventura to check out the bridge communities. wow. if i find myself a good dayjob around there, i'd love to be involved with that church. very post-modern and unconventional compared to what i've grown up on for ages. |
